Lonley Pumpkins and a Skull

Our Local Target has begun the annual transformation of the back of the store. I am hoping that by the weekend it will be completely transformed. I love the Tree Cutouts that are on the isle end caps and the iron fencing accents. Of course, those are not for sale. Poor little pumpkins are all alone.

I almost came home with this guy. He needs a crown... then he would be an All Together Dead skull. He is very large (hence the price tag) and the clearance back packs in the photo do not do him justice.

Really?

Me ... bursting through the door, not even taking my shoes or coat off... "Out of my way"

Husband.. ."where are you going"

Me .. " to our room"

Husband ... "SWEET"

Me.. "not for THAT" ripping my item out of my bag and tossing it on the bed

Husband "What is that"

Me.. "isn't it AWESOME"

Husband .. "um yeah, I guess... "

Me... " I LOVE IT"

Husband... "are you going to leave it up all year or just for Halloween"

Me glaring at him with discontent .... " I am not speaking to you the rest of the day"

Husband... "what what did I say?"

seriously doesn't EVERYONE have a black skull pillow for their bed??? I would have bought more if they would have had them...

Shrimp on the Brain

Last years haunt featured a new serving piece a wicked skull candy dish. I lined it with clear plastic wrap stuffed it to the brim with ice and then layered on the shrimp.....overall it was a fantastic crowd discussion piece. It even looked pretty nifty as the shrimp started eroding off the top. Not sure how I am going to use this piece this year yet.....
